About Us

Chaumahla is a great place for visiting and getting a fresh perspective on Rajasthan’s rural life. Nested in between lush green farms this is a great location for seeing some ancient Buddhist ruins like Kolvi caves near Dug village. These are some of the oldest Buddhist caves made by monks in a stony mountain. Not too far is the Jain Nageshwar marble temple in Unhail village 14 km away from Chaumahla. Local delicacies include Daal Bhati, Makka (Maize) roti, fresh green vegetable (recommend – Methi aloo and Methi paratha). The Samosa, Kachouri and Jalebi stalls are mouth watering and a must for indulging in. A walk in the evening along the Kaali Sind river makes it a trip worth its time and money.
